Welcome to Springside Highlands, a charming boutique cattle stud located in the heart of Central West NSW. Nestled in the picturesque foothills of Mount Canobolas, our property is just a short 5-minute drive from the vibrant town of Orange.
Since our establishment in 2020, we have been proud registered breeders with the Australian Highland Cattle Society. At Springside Highlands, our cattle are more than just livestock – they are cherished members of our family. We prioritise temperament, conformation, and soundness in our breeding program, producing cattle that are ideal for stud purposes or as delightful companions for hobby owners who dream of having their very own “hairy coo.” After all, who wouldn’t want a beautiful, fluffy cow to admire in the paddock?
Our property is owned and operated by Jenna, a qualified vet nurse with over 12 years of experience. Springside Highlands is our family’s little slice of paradise, where we combine our love for animals with the joys of outdoor living, farm life, and family time.
When we’re not busy tending to our animals, you’ll often find us relaxing by the creek that flows through our property. The tranquillity and quietude of this spot are incredibly therapeutic, much like the presence of our beloved cows.
Our goal is to have gentle, quiet, sound cattle that we can enjoy and share with others.
Jenna has had a passion for animals since she was little, it was always her dream to one day own a property with an array of pets and livestock. Springside Highlands is the realisation of that dream.
More than just cattle…..
In addition to our Highland cattle, you will also find a few Miniature Galloways, the odd poddy lamb or two, other pets and livestock and our very special Saint Bernard dogs running around the farm.
Our Saints are a huge part of our lives and if you don’t mind the hair and slobber you might just get to meet them too!
As registered breeders with Dogs NSW, again, we strive to have sound, healthy dogs with outstanding temperaments.
